While on the bus tour, we were told of the Blair Street Bridge, an over-ground structure built to connect Old Town to University. Almost immediately after completion, buildings sprang up along the structure, closing up most of its arches and creating a series of vaults.
Which of course became the stuff of folklore.
So naturally we had to have a look.
The tour began at 6 PM in front of the Church of St. Giles. By this time, the Fringe festival street performers were setting up.
